Day 5: Laundry Day in Firenze
No museums, no churches, no tours today. Instead, we slept in, washed clothes, and shopped. While mama didn’t get a brand new bag, I found a wallet in which euros – both bills and coins – actually fit (although there are now fewer of them to carry around).
Day 3: Coliseum, Palatine Hill, Forum, & Siena

It’s Go Time!
Yep it’s go time, but not to Rome – yet. Due to weather in Charlotte and other shenanigans, we now get to visit London, or at least Heathrow. Theoretically we’ll arrive in Rome around 2200 on Thursday rather than 1000 – not bad considering that we get to experience another country along the way. I wonder if airport fish-n-chips are representative?
