
Day 9: Lake Como
Today was the last day a piedi (on foot), so we decided to spend the day at Lake Como. Going to an area with such a reputation for exclusivity, I decided to splurge on Primo Classe train tickets from Milan to Como – for the 36 minute train ride – for an extra €4 total. Day 8: Piazza San Marco
I forgot to mention that we didn’t eat before last night’s Grand Canal cruise. We disembarked about 9:30 pm, only to find that most restaurants in Venice (and it seems Italy) close between 9 and 10. Yelp to the rescue! Continue reading
